Job description
Main responsibilities
- Support all internal and external HR-related inquiries or requests.
- Maintain digital and electronic records of employees.
- Serve as point of contact with benefit vendors and administrators.
- Assist with the recruitment process by identifying candidates, performing reference checks, and issuing employment contracts.
- Maintain calendars of the HR manager.
- Oversee the completion of compensation and benefit documentation.
- Assist with performance management procedures.
- Schedule meetings, interviews, HR events and maintain agendas.
- Coordinate training sessions and seminars.
- Perform orientations and update records of new staff.
- Produce and submit reports on general HR activity.
- Assist in payroll preparation by providing and preparing relevant data (absences, bonus, leaves, etc.).
- Complete termination paperwork and exit interviews.
- Keep up-to-date with the latest HR trends and best practices.
Profile
The role of the HR Assistant involves a wide range of support activities inside our HR department. As an important part of the role is to act as the liaison between HR and employees, ensuring smooth communication and prompt resolution of requests and questions. The HR assistant role also assists in creating policies, processes and documents. In addition, assist with day-to-day operations of the HR functions and duties.
Professional requirements
- University degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Psychology or relevant field.
- Ideally 1-3 years of relevant experience as HR Assistant or HR Generalist
- Customer service mindset, well-organized and able to work independently to meet deadlines
- Exceptional communication skills (written, verbal and listening)
