The Role

The Senior Sales Associate will be hired to continuously achieving sales targets, deliver impeccable customer service, develop client relationships and client records within the boutique, assume supervisory responsibilities when required (e.g. opening and closing the boutique) and be an ambassador of OMEGA brand. 

This role will be responsible for

  • Support the Boutique Manager ensuring sales targets are achieved
  • Ensure highest level of service standards at all times using the OMEGA sales ceremony
  • Assist in developing and maintaining a client database through strong sales
  • Maintain a strong focus on building strong VIP relationships with local clientele
  • Be able to open and close the Boutique unsupervised
  • Ensure the boutique operates smoothly in the absence of the Boutique Manager and Assistant Boutique Manager
  • Perform daily security stock counts
  • Be responsible for the organisation, refill and storage of back up stock, visual merchandising material, product packaging, instruction booklets and warranties
  • Provide feedback to Boutique Manager in relation to team performance
  • Develop own comprehensive OMEGA brand and product knowledge base
  • Know stock availability, delays, backorders and discontinued product lines
  • Complete E-Learning modules when required

The person in this role would need to have the following skills and experience

  • Minimum 2 years retail experience in the luxury sector preferred
  • Highly developed and proven customer service and client relationship skills
  • Excellent organisational skills
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Good computer literacy skills
  • Good time management skills
  • Energy, drive and enthusiasm
  • Impeccable grooming and presentation
  • Visual merchandising flair
  • Full and flexible availability
  • Luxury watch industry knowledge and experience an advantage
