IT SUPPORT ENGINEER 100%

Job description

Your role is to ensure IT business continuity and support for assigned productive systems and services in our company, with specific focus on Infrastructure Operations, Application Operations, Service Desk and Field Services, applying IT best practices and monitoring systems availability using given service monitoring methodologies.

Main responsibilities will include:

  • Provide 1st and 2nd level support for the IT infrastructure
  • Responsible for IMAC operation (Install, Move, Add and Change) and monitoring of needed IT tools (i.e. PC, Laptop, VPN, peripheral devices etc.)
  • Guarantee the proper monitoring during business hours of the business critical systems of the Company, utilizing given IT ticketing and monitoring tools
  • Manage problem-solving tasks and ensure proper escalations to Management and proper involvement of suppliers to solve issues when needed
  • Guarantee high quality physical intervention to promptly solve field issues blocking the daily business of the employees
  • Update Documentation System, documenting all user related information
  • Close collaboration with Swatch Group IT Services
  • Operationally manage the IT Inventory
  • Support or lead assigned IT Operations and Infrastructure projects

Profile

  • Degree in Computer Science or equivalent
  • First experience in IT Operations and Infrastructure Management

Professional requirements

Proactive, flexible and service oriented, you possess excellent communication skills as well as a talent for organisation. You are used to work in fast moving, complex environments, interacting with a wide variety of people, and know how to set priorities. In addition, you are able to solve problems autonomously and take responsibility for your work.

Languages

In addition, you possess excellent communications skills and are fluent in English, German and/or French. Every other language is a plus.
