Annual Salary Range: $115,000 - 120,000

Job description

The District Manager is responsible for achieving optimum financial results for the district by maximizing top-line sales potential and ensuring superior service to our customers. This position manages the sales plans and objectives, overall merchandising, operations, training and employee development.

**Must be based out of New York City**

Profile

Responsibilities:

  • Manage a district with volume of 9+ million and supervise approximately 11 stores.
  • Responsible for the profitability of all stores, increase sales/profits and control store expenses.
  • Recruitment and retention of top talent.
  • Focuses on multi-unit management and supervises areas of the store including: customer service, human resources, loss prevention and financial results.
  • Conduct store visits to ensure quality, consistency, and compliance with company programs and standards.
  • Think strategically and understand the business.
  • Ability to communicate with all levels of management.

Professional requirements

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 5 years of multi-unit experience in a specialty retail environment.
  • Proven ability to network, recruit, train, develop and promote quality people and create a team environment.
  • Proactive and creative problem solving ability.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication.
  • Energetic, results oriented and competitive with a drive to succeed.
  • Strong financial acumen and proficient computer skills.
  • Ability to travel up to 75% is a must
