Sales Operations Manager


As a Sales Operations Manager with the Renata Brand of the Swatch Group US., the position will be responsible to support the function of the business by managing the areas of sales planning, pricing, reporting, order maintenance, shipping/receiving, point-of-sale, inventory, operating budgets/invoicing/expenses.

This position is an office based role in Miami, Florida. 

Profile

Primary Duties and Responsibilities

  • Manage all operational based projects / update existing systems in order to satisfy the needs of the business
  • Oversee the work of the Customer Service Team
    o Provide timely and accurate information to customers regarding order fulfillment, product pricing, inventory availability and general inquiries.
    o Support new account openings (paperwork submitted to accounting, approval requests, etc.) and account closures.
    o Enter POs and Ship Notes for all incoming shipments and maintain shipment logs.
  • Responsible for Training of processes and procedures on the team
  • Plan and Organize Brand Trade Shows & Exhibitions
  • Manage the Marketing Budget with the RSMs including COOPS and advertising opportunities
  • Compile sales forecast from RSM
  • Track future deliveries vs. current sales orders and determine projected sales volume
  • Complete Weekly sales forecast
  • Support pricing for new products based on current price structure and gross margin requirements
  • Produce new pricelists for line books and catalogs
  • Implement any price changes.  Communicate information to HQ, sales force, finance, IT, logistics and accounts.  Ensure all information is accurate and facilitate on a timely basis.
  • Run, analyze, and distribute monthly sales reports as determined
    • Split Channel Report
    • Account Trends report
    • Account Sales Trends by door
    • Account Recaps
    • Monthly Flash
  • Provide RSMs with weekly sales vs. budgets
  • Follow up with RSM on the Compilation of sales forecast on a weekly basis. 
  • Analyze and determine monthly sales forecast on a weekly basis for Corporate
  • Review and communicate backorders to HQ on a weekly basis.
  • Double check orders once in the system for shipment, priorities, errors
  • Provide tracking information as needed
  • Allocate product accordingly
  • Track status of accounts on credit hold
  • Work with credit department to get orders released as needed
  • Work closely with various departments such as Finance, Logistics and Distribution to ensure orders are completed, invoiced and paid in a timely matter.
  • All other duties assigned by Management

New Accounts / Closing Accounts

  • Check availability for opening and reserve product as needed
  • Follow up with Customer Service Team on any needs from credit as needed
  • Analyze inventory and place purchase orders via SAP on a weekly basis
  • Opening or setting up new part numbers
  • Analyze inventory for product swag and trade show materials which needs to be refurbished or ordered
  • Request availability and delivery information on backordered products based on sales and advertising needs, and communicate results
  • Allocate incoming Batteries to accounts

Professional requirements

Education and Experience Requirements

  • Must have a High School Diplomas; GED or equivalent 
  • An Associates or Bachelors degree in Business Administration, or other relevant major, MBA a plus
  • Must have 4-6 years experience in one or more of the following - Sales, Brand Management, Retail, Marketing, Allocation, and Planning.
  • Must have previous management experience 
  • Must have knowledge of SAP
  • Must be proficient in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel & Powerpoint) with an ability to learn company-specific programs.
  • Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills; strong interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to prioritize and plan work activities as to use time efficiently is required
  • Must be organized, accurate, thorough, and able to monitor work for quality
  • Must be able to sustain level of professionalism; friendly demeanor;
  • The ability to work well with all levels of internal management and staff
  • Ability to multi-task and handle changing priorities
  • Able to work well with minimal supervision; self-starter
  • Ability to learn fast, handle multiple tasks, high energy, sales oriented and an analytical thinker
  • Collaborator ensuring compliance with established due dates
  • Bilingual is a plus

Physical Requirements: 

This is primarily a sedentary office position which requires the Sales Operations Manager to have the ability to operate computer equipment, speak, hear, bend, stoop, reach, lift, and move and carry up to 50 lbs. Finger dexterity is necessary.
