Main Tasks:

Sales & Retail

  • Develop tools for a daily business in the stores and in collaboration with Swatch HQ.
  • To grant objectives achievement in term of turnover and profitability in the stores.
  • Analyze sales and KPI’s in order to maximize the store performance
  • Control and supervise with HR BP the turnover of employees and develop action plan
  • Preparing Sales forecast according to the budget/commercial targets in the country per store and employee
  • Supervise & Implement actions of turnover of sales, operations strategies to maximize growth potential for the retail business.
  • Creates reports to use on a daily business.
  • To implement rules and procedures according to retail guidelines from Swatch HQ.
  • Help to identify new business opportunities for retail division by detecting potential new store locations across the market and to let approve by Swatch HQ.
  • Establish Retail expense budget for the country
  • Closing non-performing Stores.
  • Relocation of wrong located Stores.
  • Now opening selective strategic Stores.
  • Responsible to develop a database with existing clients to maintain good business relationships and new ones in collaboration with marketing activities.
  • Evaluate competitive challenges for the brand and identify opportunities for growth and profit enhancement.
  • Responsible for hiring of the retail area manager, store managers in cooperation with Brand Manager, Human Resource Manager Swatch and HQ (HR).

 

Marketing, PR, Retail Design:

  • Plan and execute local events in a store, promotions and point of sale activities in order to increase sell through levels.
  • Respecting brand identity, while ensuring that brand image and position were properly maintained in the stores in line with Swatch HQ
  • Supervises the proper use of merchandising material in line with Swatch HQ VM Guidelines in close collaboration with VM.

 

Human Resources

  • To overview personnel planning
  • Provide continuous on-site coaching and development opportunities for Area Retail Managers.
  • Monitor & improve Area Retail Managers performance through quarterly appraisals (against business plan & personal objectives) and ensuring corrective action plans in place.
  • Assess Area Retail Manager and provide all effort to resolve problems through visit and ensuring effective communication with all team members on the visit.
  • First point of contact for Area Retail Manager.

 

General responsibilities:

  • Responsible for the Retail budget in collaboration with Finance Dept. in the country.
  • Responsible for the Reporting’s in collaboration with controlling in the country lead Area Retail Manager and ad hoc also Store Manager Meeting.
  • Informs the Brand Manager of all and every extraordinary or irregular points and elements in the field of his/her responsibility.

 

Leadership:

  • Weekly meeting with Area Retail Manager
  • Evaluate weekly market visit reports
  • Establish a SWATCH spirit within the Retail organization (efficiency, unity, cooperation).
  • Assess team performance and provide constructive feedback to support skill development.

Professional requirements

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher in any fields
  • At least 3 years of working experience in selling fashion products
  • Excellent command of English
  • At least 3 years of working experience in retail management role
  • Must be a good team player, pleasant, service oriented with good communication skills
  • Good computer operation
