Job description
The Sales Planning/Reporting Analyst manages support functions essential to productivity. These include planning, reporting, quota setting and sales process optimization.
The Sales Planning/Reporting Analyst is responsible for collaborating with both retail and wholesale on establishing business objectives. Acting as a point of contact for regular reporting and analysis.
Profile
Responsibilities
- Coordinate sales forecasting, planning, and budgeting processes used within the sales organization
- Proactively monitors and strives to maintain high levels of quality, accuracy, and process consistency in the sales organization’s planning efforts
- Manage replenishment reporting on a weekly basis and liaise with the sales planner on proper allocation
- New Boutiques: Create proper allocation of product categories based on regional sales/overall sales + QTY per sub collections
- As needed coordinates planning activities with other functions and Brand Manager
- Analyze trends, researching new retail concepts and tools to achieve market growth
- Develop analytics initiatives and respond to brand requests
- Monitor the accuracy and efficient distribution of sales reports and other intelligence essential to the sales organization
- Recommend revisions to existing reports, or assists in the development of new reporting tools as needed
Professional requirements
Required Skills
- BA or BS and equivalent experience
- Demonstrated proficiency managing analytically rigorous initiatives
- Knowledge of principles and processes involved in business and organization planning, coordination and execution
- Exceptional analytical, judgment, and decision making skills; oral and written communications skills; systems analysis and evaluation skills
- Demonstrated experience with creating and executing strategic planning for a large organization
- Advanced knowledge in spreadsheet and word document software
- Experience with SAP preferred
