The Role
The Store Manager’s primary purpose is to ensure smooth running of day-to-day retail operations, lead by example and drive the team to achieve set targets.
Key responsibilities include the following
- Continually review operational reports and records to ensure company policies and procedures are being upheld.
- Ensuring set up and set down processes are implemented and run smoothly
- Daily reports are reviewed and sent to relevant management making sure all figures balance
- Monitor store transfers, damaged returns and CS inventory ensuring correct levels of store inventory are kept at all times
- Define responsibilities of sales team making sure all tasks are being completed to the expected standard
- Conduct orientation and regular training, coach and develop the team
- Ensure store sales targets are continuously being achieved
- Deal with elevated clients and supporting team where necessary
- Liaise with SGA Human Resources Manager and Brand Manager on recruitment of the best candidates for the business
- Provide ongoing feedback to the Brand Manager on staff performance
- To be always fully qualified in Tissot e-learning
- Conduct ongoing sales coaching to ensure selling skills are of the highest standard
- Work with TISSOT Marketing & Communications team to develop and co-ordinate events
- Boutique public relations
- Work closely with centre management to maximise opportunities
- Develop relationships with tour operators
The person in this role would need to have the following skills and experience
- Tertiary qualifications in Business Administration preferred
- Minimum 5 years retail experience in high-range/premium sector preferred
- Highly developed and proven customer service skills
- Proven staff management experience
- Computer literacy skills: Word, Excel
- Excellent organisational skills
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Numerical and financial skills
- Strong analytical and problem solving skills
- Effective time management skills
- Team player
