Job description

  • Visually inspect watches in accordance with prescribed standards
  • Manually operate watches to check functions against specifications
  • Operate diagnostic equipment to test performance
  • Physically transfer watches between task areas
  • Describe defects and identify points of failure
  • Record results of evaluation onto client correspondence
  • Ensure that work has been carried out as requested
  • Utilize hand tools
  • Describe defects and identify points of failure
  • Prepare watches for shipment
  • Interact with technical, administrative, and other staff members
  • Maintain professional appearance and orderly working habits
  • Stand and sit for extended periods of time
  • Assist with regular shop upkeep and routine equipment maintenance
  • Other duties as assigned

Profile

We are looking for committed and passionate Prestige Diagnostics & Quality Control Technician with a serious eye for quality to join us and play a pivotal part in our customer’s experience. To allow us to achieve customer excellence, we are looking to recruit an experienced technician with experience in servicing a variety of luxury Swiss made watches, specifically our Prestige brands.

At Swatch Group U.S., employee training, development and progression is of paramount importance to us. You may have already completed some brand specific training, however if not, we will provide this to you alongside continuous development opportunities, for those that demonstrate commitment to us.

Professional requirements

  • Strong Diagnostic Skills
  • Good customer service and communication skills
  • Knowledge of the SAP System would be a strong advantage.
  • Ability to read and write English
  • Manual dexterity
  • Familiarity with wristwatches helpful
