For our division Asulab, we are looking for a

Laser Process Engineer

You will be an active and initiative part of a small and motivated team developing innovative laser micromachining processes for new products and applications.

Description du poste

  • Identify, evaluate and implement latest technologies beneficial for The Swatch Group.
  • Define and manage R&D projects internally as well as with external partners to achieve fixed objectives.
  • Conceive robust and completely automated laser micromachining processes on multi-axes CNC machines.
  • Realize prototypes and small series.
  • Characterize and test your laser-processed parts and document your solutions.
  • Maintain and improve complex laser equipment.

Profil

  • Engineering master (HES or EPF) in physics, microtechnology, material science or similar.

Compétences requises

  • Hands-on experience in laser processing and laser systems.
  • Hands-on experience with material and process characterization techniques.
  • Analytical thinking and capacity of oral and written synthesis.
  • Strong motivation to take an active part in a multidisciplinary and international team for continuous improvement and innovation.
  • Proficiency in CAD/CAM is an important asset.
  • Programming experience (such as Python) is an important asset.

Langues

  • You should be, or willing to become fluent in oral French as the main social language at work.
  • Good oral and written English is a must for our scientific and engineering environment.
  • German is an asset.
