The Role

With the expansion of our retail network and the opening of our new store, Longines is looking a Boutique Manager (H/F/X) to strengthen its team at its new boutique in the heart of Brussels.

Responsibilities

  • You supervise and support sales advisors in building customer loyalty, achieving objectives and monthly sales, organizing work and developing your team's personal skills to form a winning team.
  • You are responsible for the store's commercial appeal and product assortment. You are responsible for maintaining an inspiring store that encourages customers to buy, and for ensuring an optimal customer experience.
  • You ensure that your store complies with the brand guidelines and procedures established by the HQ.
  • You organize regular team briefings to discuss objectives, strategies, plans and events.
  • You are the point of reference as an ambassador of the brand's image and values, maintaining a high level of professionalism and commitment to your customers. You are the pillar of team cohesion, ensuring a spirit of mutual support, fluid communication and collective dynamics.
  • You ensure that the procedures for which you are responsible are followed (team management, planning, vacations, stock management, back office, inventories, administrative management, theft prevention, etc.).
  • You report to the Brand Manager and work closely with the rest of the team (marketing, sales, visual merchandising, customer service) in Belgium and Switzerland.
  • You comply with company procedures relating to safety and cash handling.

Profile

Profile

  • You have at least 5 years' experience in a similar role. Experience in the luxury goods industry is an asset.
  • You demonstrate excellent team management and leadership skills, motivating employees, fostering their commitment, and effectively monitoring their performance to achieve set objectives.
  • You have excellent commercial skills and an appetite for customer relations. Knowledge of the local market is an added advantage.
  • You have excellent communication skills. You are able to adapt your discourse clearly and effectively to different audiences, while facilitating understanding and collaboration.
  • You have good planning and organizational skills. You are solution-oriented.
  • You are bilingual in French-English or Dutch-English. Knowledge of the second national language or any other language is a serious advantage.
  • You have an open mind and are keen to challenge yourself. You enjoy taking on challenges and seizing opportunities to reinvent yourself and inspire others. You value the feedback you receive to develop both technically and personally.
