As the Marketing Director with Swatch Group, U.S., the position will be responsible for supporting the Marketing efforts in the U.S. including but not limited to: responsible for project management (work-back) and weekly meeting coordination, preparation of Annual marketing objectives, strategies and development of annual master marketing plan, develop and maintain annual marketing budget, oversee elements of approved co-op plans to ensure plans are executed, and manage executional elements of the brands Events.
Profile
Responsibilities:
- Daily management of brand marketing activities and ongoing development of marketing department staff members.
- Develops and implements strategic marketing plans, sales plans and forecasts to achieve corporate objectives for products and services.
- Manage annual marketing budget.
- Constant communication with headquarters for approvals on expenditures, and planned media.
- Oversees advertising and promotion activities including print, online, electronic media, and direct mail.
- Attending industry trade shows and events as required.
- Acting as a brand ambassador as required.
- Evaluates market research and adjusts marketing strategy to meet changing market and competitive conditions.
- Production & coordination of ad materials; working with advertising agencies on ad buys
- Monitors competitor products, sales and marketing activities.
- Controlling, Reporting and Budgeting of Marketing activities of all departments (retail, wholesale/third party retailers, visual and Ecommerce) on a monthly, and quarterly basis.
- Negotiate production costs with vendors
- Responsible for overseeing all Project sheets, and I.O’s for marketing department.
- Manage monthly creative change out for company owned billboards and all print and outdoor advertising
- Oversee development and activations surrounding Swatch Club.
- Evaluate incoming proposals regarding media, sponsorship opportunities and vendors.
- Establishes and maintains a consistent corporate image throughout all product lines, promotional materials, and events.
Professional requirements
Education and Experience Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree in a related field required. Masters or MBA is a plus.
- At least 8 plus years in the marketing field or a similar role is required
- Must be proficient in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel & Powerpoint) with an ability to learn company specific programs and software.
- Must have experience with SAP, Photoshop, InDesign and Illustrator is highly desired.
- Must have the ability to work cooperatively with staff inside and outside of the department.
- Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills; strong interpersonal skills.
- Must be able to sustain level of professionalism; friendly demeanor
- Prior experience in a luxury goods organization is a plus.
- Must be organized, accurate, thorough, and able to monitor work for quality
- Must be able to demonstrated an ability to handle multiple projects and details simultaneously
- Must be able to operate with flexibility in the presence of shifting priorities and deadlines.
- Strong self-motivation, tact, diplomacy and a clear, courteous and professional manner when dealing with the public.
- Must be able to work cooperatively with staff inside and outside of the department.
- Must be willing and able to travel on behalf of the brand up to 50% of the time
