Job description

In this demanding position, reporting to the Vice President Sales, you will play a pivotal role in driving Tissot’s commercial success across key international markets. Your responsibilities will span across business development, marketing, sales strategy, and distribution management, ensuring the brand’s growth and visibility worldwide.

 

Markets/Distribution

  • Drive Tissot's business development strategies within designated territories, aligning closely with corporate strategic objectives.
  • Craft and implement retail and wholesale distribution strategies aimed at enhancing brand penetration and awareness across the designated markets.
  • Streamline distribution closing/relocating/openings POS.
  • Work closely with HQ design team to optimize the execution process of the opening of new POS.
  • Evaluate local team structure efficiency and conduct necessary changes when needed.
  • Formulate business plans and establish targets in collaboration with business partners.

Marketing and brand strategy

  • Coordinate and endorse marketing plans with local teams, ensuring alignment with HQ marketing campaigns.
  • Exercise meticulous oversight over marketing expenses across markets.
  • Collaborate with the Training Team to deploy effective training tools.
  • Enforce strict adherence to visual merchandising guidelines.
  • Oversee the seamless rollout of new advertising campaigns across various channels.

Sales and performance management

  • Responsible for annual budget, semester forecasts and monthly sales reporting initiatives.
  • Conduct comprehensive analyses of sell-in/sell-out data and SKU performance, leveraging insights to optimize collection management.
  • Evaluate business partnerships with agents and spearhead market expansions with a keen eye on market strategies.
  • Oversee legal, financial, and logistics operations, particularly in negotiating and drafting distribution agreements.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with internal HQ departments to align and fortify Tissot's global strategy.
  • Deliver concise market visit reports to the VP of Sales, ensuring alignment with the global objectives.

  • Results-oriented, self-motivated, and able to work independently.
  • Comfortable working with both numbers and people, with excellent interpersonal skills.
  • Willingness to travel to assigned markets.

 

 

Professional requirements

  • Higher education in business, marketing, or a related field.
  • Minimum 5 years of proven international sales experience (experience in the watchmaking industry is a plus).

Languages

  • French : native or fluent
  • English : excellent proficiency (spoken and written)
