Job description
The Swatch Group US is looking for a Sales & Inventory Control Analyst to join our Corporate Finance/Controlling team. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, ability to build relationships with internal and external clients, and will be responsible for all assigned tasks relating to inventory control and retail sales recognition - including maintaining inventory counts and ensuring full sales recognition in ERP of all retail sales.
Profile
- Extract, analyze and manage inventory data for each Swatch Group Own Retail Store.
- Inventory reconciliation. Audit applications and processes to ensure data integrity, including management and analysis of the inventory synchronization process between the Distribution Center and the Own Retail Store Systems.
- Analyze existing business processes that impact the inventory of the Group, through personal observation and user interaction, recommending ways to improve the inventory control function.
- Develop new applications and tools as well as ad hoc and refreshable reports to help with root cause analysis or to streamline related processes.
- Plan and perform the annual inventory counts in all Swatch Group Own Retail Stores.
- Monitor Inventory valuation and analyze variations outside normal range.
- Ensure monthly sales reconciliation between POS system and ERP, and full recognition of all sales made.
- Actively participate in external & internal audits in all inventory and sales matters.
Professional requirements
- Must have a High School Diploma or the equivalent.
- Associate or Bachelor degree in Accounting or Finance preferred.
- Must have at least 2 years’ relevant work experience (focus on Logistics/Supply Chain Management preferred).
- Inventory management experience a must.
- Experience in retail or consumer products industry a plus.
- Advanced Excel skills and a thorough understanding of macros, pivot tables, lookup formulas, formatting, etc.
- Excellent SAP skills.
- Proficiency with merchandising systems/applications (POS – CEGID is a plus).
- Ability to manipulate large amounts of data and create reporting tools from data.
- Good understanding in Accounting/Controlling/Finance processes.
