The Swatch Art Connections

The Swatch Art Peace Hotel is turning 8! A lucky number in its home country China, the Shanghaibased artist residency takes the happy occasion to open a virtual exhibition on its website. SWATCH ART CONNECTIONS presents fun, crazy and interesting projects that Swatch has developed following fruitful encounters with artists-in-residence.
Swatch has always worked closely with outstanding artists, encouraging them to unleash their creativity. Opened in 2011, the Swatch Art Peace Hotel has ever since welcomed more than 350 artists from 50 and more countries.
A melting pot of artistic freedom and creativity, the art hotel by the Bund has paved the way for a variety of projects with artists expressing a side of Swatch. Working with artists can be expressed in different ways: SWATCH ART CONNECTIONS include exhibitions at, or in collaboration with, the Swatch Art Peace Hotel, the presence at the Biennale Arte with Swatch Faces, designs of Swatch Art Special watches and many more – to be discovered at www.swatch-art-peace-hotel.com/swatch-art-connections
