Description du poste

Global Mission

You will be responsible for developing technologies for integrated circuit manufacturing. You will take part in setting the base of new technologies and define test structures to evaluate process and devices performances. You will propose improvements and assist engineers in process optimizations.

Tasks and responsibilities

  • As an already experienced CMOS-technologist joining our technology development team, you will be personally involved in initial technology conception, and resulting technology specifications, underlying design rules and also process architecture and definition of mask generation equations. Ultimately you will become owner of CMOS-technology related design- and generation-rules.
  • As active Leader of new technology developments, your main role will be to define and adapt smart test structures to assess process response and device characteristics. You will analyze and interpret your characterization results of devices and test structures from which you will derive tunings and improvements. You already have hands-on experience in CMOS-characterization and even generating and adapting test programs.
  • As partner of process engineering, you will be able to provide guidance-inputs to process engineers in their process optimization tasks.

Profil

  • Master degree in Science or Engineering.
  • Minimum 5-8 years of experience in a similar position, ideally built upon some practical experience in lithography-etch-metrology areas.
  • Good understanding of both design and manufacturing environments.

Compétences requises

  • You are strongly motivated in all aspects of CMOS-Technology development related to IC manufacturing, from definition to release to mass production.
  • You have a solid background in IC manufacturing, CMOS-process integration as well as general device-physics. An experience with embedded-NVM, TCAD process and device simulations and/or spice device modelling would be a real asset.
  • You have an effective hands-on experience with test structures interpretation and conception, ideally even own layout skills.
  • You are familiar with statistical data analysis and problem-solving techniques and you have a strong personal initiative with self-learning capabilities.
  • You like to work in a multicultural, international, and highly technical environment.
  • You are highly motivated, flexible and a communicative team player.

Langues

  • Good written and verbal communication skills in English.
  • Ability to learn French.
